Fromentine hosts the French and European Youth Land Sailing Championships

It's one of the major sporting events of the autumn on the Vendée coast!

From Thursday 29th to Saturday 31st October 2026The best young French and European pilots will meet on the beach of Grande Côte, in La Barre-de-Monts – Fromentine, for a spectacular competition organised by the Aéroplage Club of Fromentine.

The festivities will begin on Wednesday, October 28th with training, float adjustments and the opening ceremony.

The competition schedule:

• Wednesday, October 28: training and opening ceremony.

• Thursday, October 29: first races from 10 a.m.

• Friday, October 30: departures from 10:45 am.

• Saturday, October 31: departures from 11:45 am, followed by closing ceremony and presentation of titles.

The races will take place according to the rhythm of the tides, on the large sandy beach of Fromentine.
